Please note:
- Due to financial and logistical considerations, we are no longer able to
offer a complete dinner to RDD participants.
Please enjoy
the happy hour snacks and plan for dinner after the event is over.
- Workshops are for adults and responsible teens.
We're not able to admit younger children.
- No pets!
- If you have any special needs or concerns please let us know before the day of the event.
Workshops will be held mostly outside, beneath redwood trees in partial shade.
Please wear shoes appropriate for mildly hilly, uneven terrain. We go on RAIN OR SHINE.
In the unlikely event that it rains we have access to indoor space.
DON'T FORGET TO BRING:
- Your mountain dulcimer!
- Flatpicks, extra set of strings, dulcimer capo (if you have one)
- Music stand (and maybe clothespins or other clips to secure music to stand)
- Folder for your handouts and a pencil
- Flashlight (for exploring catacombs or getting back to your car after dark)
- Sack lunch (please note we do not have access to a fridge). Also
please feel free to bring any snacks you'd like to share with the group during Happy Hour.
Thank you!
YOU MIGHT ALSO WANT TO BRING:
- tape recorder, tapes, extra batteries
- NON-DEET bug spray (DEET will remove the finish on your instrument!)
- bathing suit/towel (sunscreen)--yes, there is a pool!
- a little spending money (dulcimer CDs and books available)
